Today I was learning to create a brochure for our falekai.
   

How To Make Otai Meleni

We are learning to write a recipe about how to make 'otai
meleni for our procedural writing.

How To Make Otai 
Topic: Drink
Requirements/Ingredients :
3 Whole watermelons
2 fresh coconut
3 cups of water
5 tablespoons of sugar
500 g of milk
4 cups of ice


Utensils/Equipment :  
1 big bucket
1 fork to scrape the watermelons
1 big spoon to pour the otai in the cups
Heaps of cups
1 knife to cut the watermelons in halve


Method:
1. Grab all of the watermelons.
2. Grab a sharp knife and cut the
watermelons in half.
3. Grab a fork and scrape the inside
of the watermelon in a clean  bucket.
4. Use a spoon and take the black seeds out.
5. Then grab the coconuts and scrape the inside
in the bucket.
6. Next you grab the 500g of milk
and pour it in the bucket.
7. Now you mix everything together.
8. After that grab the 3 cups of water
and add it to the
mixture now stir the mixture thoroughly. 
9. Now grab the 5 tablespoons of sugar
and add it to the
mixture.
10. Add the 4 cups of Ice to the mixture
(optional)
11. Finally mix everything together.


You can use breakfast crackers to eat with the otai if
you want,
Also before you make the otai, keep the watermelon
and coconut in the refrigerator.
This otai is a refreshing drink and perfect to drink.
It is delicious and really easy to make.

on time when the teacher is not here or my friends.

sometimes i finish my work when the classroom door is open.

How To Make KFC Wicked Wings

Today,room 7 were learning about how to write a instructional
writing about our favourite food to eat. The recipe i write
 about is a New Zealand fast food that you can have any
time you want. This food is called wicked wings. writing
a instructional writing should include a title, a method,
ingredients and materials, verbs and more.
How To Make KFC Wicked Wings
Ingredients :
Any pieces of chicken
½ teaspoon of black pepper
3 cups of plain flour 
2 cups of buttermilk
½ a tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of onion powder
½ teaspoon of ground mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon of dry oregano
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of ground sage
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
Deep frying to 6 - 8 minutes
or until golden brown


Instructions:
1. First, you grab the chicken
and place it in a big bowl and
put 2 cups of buttermilk inside the bowl.
Next you put ½ a tablespoon of
salt, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder,
2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper,
1 teaspoon of onion powder, ½
teaspoon of ground mustard, 1
teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon
of dry oregano, 1 tablespoon of
paprika, 1 teaspoon of ground sage
and 1 teaspoon of ginger.


2. Second, you grab the bowl of
chicken and bring out the frying
pan and then grab out the neutral
-  flavoured oil and put it in the
frying pan for 6 - 8 minutes or until golden brown.


3. When it is ready you grab any
kind of sauce for the chicken and
add black pepper on top if you want.

DO NOT EAT THE BONES!!
